  • This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

    THIS IS NOT A”FROM HOME” POSITION. YOU MUST LIVE IN THE OLYMPIA, WA AREA TO BE CONSIDERED.

    Job Duties:

    • Review patient records for accuracy and completeness & obtain missing information for billing

    • Timely, efficient and accurate insurance and patient billing

    • Knowledge of industry standard guidelines

    • Accounts receivable management according to company time frame expectations

    • Payment posting and analysis

    • Manage secondary & tertiary insurance billing and follow up

    • Answer patient, client & staff questions as they pertain to claims billing, payments and denials

    • Report preparation for management and clients on a weekly and monthly basis

    • Position Requirements, Desired Qualifications & Skills:

    • 2 years medical billing experience required

    • CPT & ICD10 coding experience required

    • Certified Biller & Coder preferred

    • Out of Network billing experience preferred

    • Insurance credentialing experience preferred

    • Multiple Billing Software experience preferred

    • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required

    • Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills & detail orientation

    • Self-motivated individual capable of efficient time management

    • Critical thinker capable of working collaboratively with the team

    Job Duties:

    • Assist in the performance of timely, efficient and accurate insurance and patient billing to regulate the revenue cycle management process

    • Collaborate on team priorities, goals and timelines for collections and projects

    • Routine claim auditing to ensure quality and consistency in billing process

    • Communicate with clients and referring provider offices to streamline processes and troubleshoot challenges

    • Knowledge of industry standard guidelines

    • Accounts receivable management according to company time frame expectations

    • Payment posting and analysis

    • Answer patient, client & staff questions as they pertain to claims billing, payments and denials

    • Report preparation for management and clients on a weekly and monthly basis

    • Remote management of billing for several dental practices – occasional on-site visits to coordinate with office staff

    • Verify patient’s eligibility and benefits

    • Assist existing billing staff with claims tracking and reporting utilizing various Dental billing software and Excel.

    • Position Requirements, Desired Qualifications & Skills:

    • 2 years minimum dental billing experience preferred

    • 2 years minimum dental office experience required

    • Experience with various dental software preferred: Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, etc.

    • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required
